Animal-loving actress Olivia Wilde has defended Megan Fox after she made a controversial remark about wanting to throttle an ox. The "Transformers" star caused outrage by complimenting the "House M.D." actress' looks, saying, "Olivia Wilde is so sexy, she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox."
But Wilde, who supports animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has spoken out to defend Fox's choice of "witty" words, insisting she didn't mean them literally.
She tells Playboy magazine, "I thought it was a witty, clever choice of words. It's rare when actors in this business compliment each other. I'm sure she means no harm to the mountain oxen."
Wilde has been put on top in many sexy lists such as Maxim's Hot 100 List in 2009 and PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2010. Meanwhile, Fox was named FHM's No. 1 Sexiest Woman in the World two years in a row starting 2008.
